Praying for Day at The Zoo

I am so super mega hella excited. Tomorrow I may be going to the Boston Zoo with my friend D *grinz* As long as we have been friends we have never ever taken a day trip or anything together. Her college is taking a bus down and there are extra seats so she asked me to go.

There were a few hurdles I had to overcome. I wanted to find someone to watch the kids so that Scott would not go absolutely nuts with them here all day by himself. But.. that didn't happen and the wunnerful man told me to nevermind that. No problem he didn't mind no sitter needed! How awesome is that. He da best. I wub him to pieces.

Then there was a money issue. It costs 30 bucks and I have no money. I called dear ole dad. Not home. I kept trying. He gladly floated me the loan said that it was good for me to go do something like that. There are some points for dear ole dad. Heh. Gives him back some he has lost over the past years *giggles*

Then, there is the issue of who will take care of gramma. I called work to see if they could get Amy to cover my shift. Now, I am still waiting to hear on that issue. I can't wait too long as the money has to be in at 3:30. I hate waiting. I called the office back and they are just waiting to see if Amy can rearrage her private duty schedule and cover for me, which I was told she wants to do for me. So. Here I sit. Waiting patiently. Praying that it all works out cause this is a once in a lifetime type of thing for me. Things like this don't come along everyday in our little lives. I am super gracious for the opportunity. It's much needed to.

Just the time away to have girly time one on one ya know. We talk daily, get together everyonce in a while... but we have never done anything like this together. It's way cool.

Well, I will keep ya posted and if I don't and I am busy prepping for my day away I will hopefully bring back some awesome pics of my friendship day away at the zoo.
